Single axis Force Sensor

The FS11CXK-ICA series of piezo-electric force sensors provides a direct measurement of compressive force. Their integrated charge amplifiers provide high-sensitivity, low-drift, low-impedance output signals for superior performance in industrial environments. These sensors are typically imbedded in milled pockets, slots, or spacer-plates located within the machine structure. This sensor is typically used in lathe, pressing, and broaching applications. It can be used to detect overloads or collisions, missing tools, and in some applications, broken or worn tools.
