The single-channel Montronix TSSG1-DGM force amplifier is used in combination with a Montronix RetroBoltSG-Mxx force sensor. The Montronix SPECTRA central unit controls the TSSG1-DGM via a serial interface. Amplification, filter and time constant can hereby be set individually. These settings are individually available for each tool, rapid feed function, and tool change.

There are two analog signal outputs. In order to be evaluated by the processor unit, the TSSG1-DGM amplifier divides the force signals into a static and a dynamic part. Since the sensor is really based on strain gauge measurements, this specific Montronix sensor technology is especially suited for long cuts and rapid process changes.
