Sensorless monitoring up to 8 axes or spindles

SPECTRA™ digital drive data DDD represent an excellent add-on to the existing spectrum of Montronix process monitoring systems. Such monitoring can be based exclusively on digital drive data, but can also be set up with external sensors. Up to 8 drives or axes can be monitored with the help of digital drive data. In addition to DDD, conventional sensors can be used, offering an extensive and exact differentiation of processes.

All machine types can be monitored via digital drive data, provided it is an „open“ CNC control by Siemens, Fanuc, or Indramat.

The DDD bus data are read via profibus or interbus, with the SPECTRA™ PCI card providing the PC-contained version. SPECTRA™ SL, and GL systems continue to be external solutions, installed in the respective control cabinets. The machine manufacturer can thus install the systems individually and quickly, enabling the final customer to retrofit and upgrade them without any difficulties.

Setting up the bus data follows the same principles as with all other sensors. The procedures to set up parameters remains the same. The user will decide which of the measured drives provides the most significant signal. Setting the monitoring parameters is then performed automatically.

Specifications are control dependent

DDD for Siemens CNC controls:

In combination with Siemens controls you can either use a SPECTRA™ PCI card, a SPECTRA™ SL or a GL. All of these systems use the 32-bit drive data imported via profibus for evaluation. The extremely high sensitivity of the monitoring unit guarantees optimal monitoring. Software versions up to NCU Version 6.4 require the technology card to provide the necessary cycles.

Drive Hardware: SIMODRIVE 611D

Control Hardware: SINUMERIK 840D, - NCU : 572.3 or 573.2 and higher, -Minimum 32MB memory, Profibus or Profinet Interface

Control Software: SINUMERIK 840D Technology card required up to bis NCU V6.4, Rev.05.03.06 (NCU_05.03.18) or 04.04.11 (NCU_04.04.37) and higher

Software Options: Profibus License for tool monitoring and process monitoring MLFB-6FC5251-0AE71-0AA0

 

DDD for Fanuc controls:

In case of Fanuc controls, the SPECTRA™ PCI card can be directly installed in the PC or added as PCI extension. Alternatively, an external SPECTRA™ SL or GL system can be used. All of these systems use the 16-bit drive data imported via profibus for evaluation. High sensitivity results in superior monitoring performance.

DDD for Indramat CNC controls:

In combination with Indramat controls, you can either use a SPECTRA™ PCI card or a SPECTRA™ SL, or GL. All of these systems use the 32-bit drive data imported via interbus for evaluation. The extremely high sensitivity of the monitoring unit guarantees optimal monitoring.

Control Hardware: Indramat MTC200 and higher, Profibus, Profinet or Interbus Interface

Control Software: Rev. 19 and higher
